The creation and administration of Cash SSP accounts is handled by the National Bank of Belgium (“the NBB”), which has its head office at Boulevard de Berlaimont 14, 1000 Brussels. The NBB records your personal data in order to provide you access rights to the Cash SSP platform and to ensure the follow up of your access rights. The NBB bases the processing of these personal data on Article 6.1, (a) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

The NBB is responsible for the processing of these personal data. The data are only accessible to a limited number of the NBB’s staff who are in charge of managing the Cash SSP platform and to a limited number of staff of your employer, only on a “need-to-know” basis. Your personal data will not be communicated to third parties unless the laws and regulations oblige the NBB to disclose the data. The NBB processes and stores the personal data for the period strictly necessary to achieve the objectives of the processing. This period shall in no case exceed 5 years from the date your access rights to the Cash SSP platform are terminated.
The GDPR provides you with certain rights with regard to the processing of your personal data. For the data that is recorded for the purposes of the Cash SSP site you have in particular the right (1) to access your personal data and rectify them if appropriate, and (2) to lodge a complaint to the Data Protection Authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the laws and regulations applicable.
